Reimbursement for a Home Charging Station

If you are the owner or have a long-term lease of an electric vehicle, you could receive financial support of $600 from the Government of Quebec for the purchase of a home charging station.

Here are the main conditions you must meet to be eligible for this rebate:

• Your electric station must be new, powered at a voltage of 240 volts and appear on the list of admissible charging stations
• You must present your purchase invoice
• The electrical work must have been completed at the time of your request, and be carried out by an electrical contractor that holds a license from the Régie du Bâtiment du Québec

Reimbursement for a Station in Multi-Unit Housing

If you are the owner or occupant of a multi-unit building, you could receive financial support of up to $5,000 from the Government of Quebec for the purchase or rental of charging stations for electric vehicles, as well as for the work required for installation.

Here are the main conditions you must meet to be eligible for this rebate:

• Your electric station must be new, powered at a voltage of 208/240 volts and appear on the list of eligible charging stations
• The station must be kept in service by the applicant for a period of at least 3 years following the financial assistance payment
• The building must be residential or mixed use and have 5 or more housing units

Reimbursement for a Station at Work

If you are a business, municipality or organization and you plan on installing charging stations for your corporate vehicles or for your employees, you could receive financial support of up to $5,000 from the Government of Quebec for the purchase or rental of charging stations for electric vehicles, as well as the work required for installation.

Here are the main conditions you must meet to be eligible for this rebate:

• Your electric station must be new, powered at a voltage of 120 volts (1st level charging) or 208/240 volts (2nd level charging) and appear on the list of eligible charging stations
• Your station must be used to charge an electric vehicle owned by the applicant or employees of the applicant
• Installation work must be carried out in accordance with the Building Act (R.S.Q., c. B 1), administered by the Régie du bâtiment du Québec
